Bents Road Winery's latest releases of premium Granite Belt wines are now available for sale and tasting.
The 2006 Semillon/Sauvignon Blanc is about to be released in the next couple of weeks. It's showing fresh citrus aromas and flavours and its pallet is very light and refreshing. The 2005 vintage is completely sold out apart from a couple of bottles left @ our cellar door in Provincial Gourmet Maleny.
The 2005 Shiraz, a bronze medalist @ 2006 The Australian Small Winemakers Show is almost sold out and it will make way in the next couple of weeks for the new 2006 Shiraz/Viognier. We're really excited about this wine, the Viognier adding a fruit lift to the spicy, peppery Shiraz.
The 2006 Red Granite, which is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, has already picked up two bronze medals - 2007 Cairns Wine Show and 2007 Brisbane EKKA Wine Show! This fruity, lightly oaked, easy drinking wine is selling fast !
All our wines are under Stelvin closures, screw tops, so there's no need to fiddle with corkscrews.
All of the new wines reflect the fantastic terroir of the Granite Belt!
