White Granite 2006
Marsanne is a grape that originally comes from the Rhône region in France and is still considered an ‘alternative’ variety in Australia. It grows exceptionally well in the hard granite soils of Ballandean (G.I. Granite Belt). Huge granite boulders protrude in every part of the landscape and have always been the bane of local farmers. This wine is very fruit driven with some natural residual sweetness.
