Unwooded Chardonnay 2006
These grapes grow at an altitude of 800 metres above sea level in the cool Granite Belt G.I. region of Queensland. The grapes were hand picked and fermentation was slow and temperature controlled to preserve fresh fruit quality so characteristic of unwooded chardonnay. This light, crisp wine is a great aperitif for a hot summer afternoon and matches well with seafood and other modern fresh-flavoured foods.
